There is always something to be said for the independent pizza shop. Normally I do not issue a great deal of Praise when I'm ordering a pizzeria but this time I have to.
Along Britannia Road in Mississauga between 9th Line and 10 Line, you'll find JP's Pizzeria, and you can immediately upon entering offer JP's Pizzeria the title of 'hidden gem.'
I pulled in and grabbed a slice. Later that night I ordered a party-sized pizza and immediately fell in love.
I received my order exactly the way that I had issued my instructions and what I loved the most was the finishing touch of that lovely crispy edge around all my Pepperoni. I worked in three pizza shops as a kid and I can tell you it's not easy to get that crispy edge on pepperoni while at the same time making sure the crust of the pie doesn't burn.
You may not think that pizza is an art form but I'm telling you that it is and JP's Pizzeria has got it right.
