Welcome to the Credit Valley Wolves! Our home arena is Hershey Centre.
In 2005, the Credit Valley Hockey Association evolved from the Malton Minor Hockey Association that was founded in 1949. The first MMHA executive in 1949, consisted of Alex MacPherson, Ron MacNeil, Don Williams and Jack Weech.
All of the interest and hard work over the years by numerous Malton citizens paid off handsomely, as thousands of boys participated and benefited from the competitive spirit of and comraderie of minor hockey.
Some of the more famous graduates of the M.M.H.A. include, Ron Ellis, Fred and Jack Stanfield and of course Paul Coffey. The president for Malton’s final year of operations was Ivan Elliot. Ivan and his wife Leona were responsible for spearheading the actions that resulted in the birth of the Credit Valley Wolves.
The Wolf Cubs Inaugural game was played against the Meadowvale Ice Puppies at Iceland on Sunday, November 27, 2005.
Special guest Mr. Johnny Bower “the China Wall,” (Toronto Maple Leafs last goalie to win the Stanley cup in 1967) was in attendance.
