There was a movie that came out in 1998 starring Johnny Depp entitled Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It was based on the book by Hunter S. Thompson. Hunter's work was what they called "gonzo journalism" in which the writer becomes part of the story, by hanging out with and infiltrating the groups he wanted to study and write about.
The plot takes place in and around Hollywood California and Las Vegas Nevada. It is here in this story we meet the character, based on Hunter, first get introduced to the drug adrenochrome.
I remember when
I almost lost my mind
There was something so pleasant about that place
Even your emotions have an echo in so much space
And when you're out there, you're out there without care
I was out of touch
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
I just knew too much.
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?

There is a sense of relief in the air today. As if we came through the darkness to reach the light. For those of us following Craig "The Sawman" Sawyer, his band of brave soldiers and his work with Vets4Child Rescue https://vets4childrescue.org/ we have been encouraged to see the amount of child predators being rounded up and children rescued during this past year and a half.
Vets4Child Rescue's mission is to educate and increase public awareness, assist law enforcement and other legal entities to prevent and reduce human child sex trafficking. You can follow Craig on most social-media platforms to keep up with the on-going arrests. Most have been in the United States but not limited to just there as this is an internationally run racket. Yesterday, our Canadian law enforcement disclosed, Project Mercury.
There was an music artist that I really appreciated over the years. I found his music motivational and it gave me energy to push through physical fatigue when needing a boost. It was that energizing. There were a few songs of his I didn't like the lyrics to, but the beats were always great and I believed in free speech, so I kept a playlist of his more palatable songs and played them often.
This past weekend as I shared what was being exposed on social-media about this particular musician and how the swamp goes all the way to Hollywood, people were shocked. Why would a fan like me be so upset with the great Eminem?
The ever increasing advancement of technology within society decrees that each individual take responsibility to learn or get left behind. If you don't adapt quickly you will find yourself out of the loop.
What loop would that be? How does one maintain balance in the loop? And are there any faults to being in or out of the loop?
A couple of months back I had the opportunity to talk with a group of first responders here in Mississauga. From that time forward I have paid attention to the topic discussed that day. There is a general theme when people ponder over A.I.
I listened as the police in particular mentioned "RoboCop" and to the concern in their voices. Not only are people of all occupations being told machines might replace them, but the idea of a robot enforcing any type of restraint on others was not where these officers wanted to go. And for that I thank them. It gives us insight into a local officers' mindset and that it really is one of keeping the peace first. Since it will always be a frontline worker who can detail the needs and requirements and ask the best questions - we listened.
Not sure what happened over Easter weekend with Google? The search engine landing page did not have the usual seasonal Google Doodle celebrating any Judeo-Christian themes like they have done in past years and should have for the spring holy days that just past this year.
We have excelled at inclusion here in Canada and so we are always happy to see the celebration of other cultures on social-media platforms. This past weekend however, it was blatantly obvious Easter and/or Passover were overlooked this season once again and one can't help but wonder why?
The amount of biased slant in a prominent, local newspaper here in Mississauga does not surprise us anymore. Especially when it comes to one of our own citizens running for mayor. With all due respect I must respond to the comments made by reporter Louie Rosella in Thursday March the 15th's edition found on page fifteen.
While it is true Kevin J Johnston has been the prominent figure in the debate centered on mulsim prayers in Peel schools, declaring he has published material targeting them is fakenews!
Today marks an important event to take note of for those of us looking forward to the upcoming Mississauga mayoral race.
Keven J Johnston who will be running, has been doing a daily morning and Wednesday evening radio show for over a year now. It has been a success. It will be the way future leaders, who can handle it, will be forced to engage to grow their networks within the public domain, who now demand transparency for all involved.
If you have not heard about Tommy Robinson then taking a moment to find out exactly who this amazing man is and what he stands for will be of benefit to you.
Amongst the many important issues Tommy brings to light, the most recent attack on him proves to us that it is Antifa who are the problem and not the other way around.
The latest footage out of the UK shows us that it took one Tommy Robinson to outperform 20+ police officers and take on 10 Antifa members. The man is a hero.
