On February 18, 2016 the Ontario Municipal Board issued it's decision on the 2700 Aquitaine application for 3 apartment towers.
The decision said that the application did not meet the Intensification Policies of the City, did not meet the Official Plan and was a significant intensification of an established neighbourhood. It also referred to the fact that the buildings would in fact introduce a built form higher than what is there now.
The board did feel that there could be some intensification on the site but it should comply with City policies which might allow a maximum 4 storey product.
