2016 Conservation Day is May 14th
 
Conservation Day will be held this coming Saturday, in the Suncor Parking Lot at 385 Southdown Rd. (off Lakeshore Rd. W.), from 8:30 am to 3 pm.

Items that will be accepted:
 
  • confidential papers for shredding
  • old blue, grey and green bins and garbage containers
  • household hazardous waste (in sealed, labelled containers); motor oil, paint, chemicals, all batteries and propane tanks (max. 18 kg./40 lb.)
  • reusable items, such as clothing, books and housewares
  • electronics, such as tv’s, computers and cell phones
Please note: There will be no cart exchanges, for garbage, recycling or organics carts, at this event.
