Hello Sport Group RepresentativesI am pleased to invite you to an open house that your sport group executive members can attend on proposed changes to the Community Group Support Program Policy.
Rich in history and home to the city’s most diverse ethnic population, Malton has long been ignored when it comes to funding initiatives and community projects.
But that’s all set to change as the City’s planning department passed a long-term community vision, MyMalton, which establishes guidelines and principles for the redevelopment of one of Mississauga’s most neglected areas.
“For years, we’ve felt like the stepchild and now we feel like Cinderella,” said Camar Cameron, one of the speakers who attended the planning meeting.
“There are currently requirements for clothing donation boxes under the City’s Zoning By-law including that they be for registered charities,” said Mickey Frost, Director, Enforcement. “The proposed changes to the Business Licensing By-law will help to more effectively regulate outdoor clothing donation drop boxes to ensure they are kept in a reasonable condition and benefit registered charities only.”
Ward 5 General boundaries
Tragedy in Manchester Arena all the more horrific because young kids were targeted. Trump's calling perpetrators "losers" so inappropriate.
Trump drains World Swamp. Plays nice with Saudis who financed 9/11, don't let women drive cars and behead citizens at the drop of a hat!
N Korea launches missiles, US launches Trump into Middle East. Which is more dangerous? Trump did seem low key facing Saudi power house.
Warm, wonderful, humour-filled funeral for Ruby Bullard today. Mike and brother Pat Bullard were hilarious;Chuck Jackson sang Frank Sinatra.
Ashamed of Opposition parties in Canadian Parliament. Wailing over nothing in QP today while Trump dances with a North Korean lunatic.
